Meet The Stilted Nest Family! We’re a small crew soaking up the sunshine in Florida, always ready for an adventure. Whether it’s casting lines on a fishing trip, hitting the hiking trails, or sinking our toes in the sand on beach days, we love the outdoors. But don’t underestimate our indoor stamina – we’re just as happy racking up 27,000 steps at Disney or diving deep into a Marvel movie marathon! The truth is, we’re constantly finding ourselves immersed in something new. From camper remodels to 3D printing obsessions, to the sheer wonder of hatching caterpillars, we believe life is overflowing with experiences, and we’re determined to try them all – even if it means a few epoxy coaster fails along the way! Join us as we share this wonderfully wild journey and the resources we gather along the way

I am just a homeschooling mom who believes in the magic of “if you’re interested, you’ll learn it.” My graphic design background unexpectedly became my homeschool superpower! We started a bit sloppy, but we quickly realized that even our most imperfect, interest-driven days were more fruitful than perfectly planned lessons. Omaha, Nebraska is where I began, but sunny Florida is now home, and I’m thrilled to share our unit study adventures!
